Job Title                        :            Principal Biostatistician III

Description

The Principal Biostatistician will provide support to Company's Clinical Development/Medical Affairs (CDMA) department and other functional areas and Alliance partners upon request.

Work with CDMA, Commercial and others who request data analysis and/or statistical consulting. Provide support to Business Development due diligence efforts, as needed. Assist with Guideline and SOP development. Assist with CDISC implementation; in particular, provide input on database specifications for the analysis (ADaM) datasets.

Qualifications

Six to 10 years of industry and/or CRO experience with the design and analysis of clinical trials is required; a minimum of 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical, biologics or device company is preferred. A Master\'s degree (or higher) in a research field — eg, statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology, psychology, public health is required; a PhD is preferred. Proficiency in SAS programming and at least one other advanced statistical analytic package is required. Knowledge of StatExact, SAS Graphics, SQL, EXCEL and/or JMP is a plus.
