We are looking for a senior scientist or associate director level person with significant immunoassay experience to direct a group of scientists in the Assay Development group at Regeneron.
The individual will direct the development and validation of immunoassays for the detection of drug, drug complexes and anti-drug antibodies for the analysis of samples from preclinical and clinical studies. They will be responsible for guiding assay development efforts for each drug program, establish deliverables and communicate program objectives to project teams. They will also be responsible for writing validation protocols, reports, SOPs and sections for both INDs and BLAs.
This position requires a Ph.D. in Biology, Immunology or a related field and at least 10 years of laboratory experience. The successful candidate must possess excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills. The ability to effectively interact with colleagues in a team environment, and the ability to independently plan, supervise and direct projects to completion are essential. Significant experience developing and validating ELISA assays in a GLP environment is required.
