Job Title: Research Associate IV - Protein Expression Sciences (1443) Requisition Number: 1443 Location: Tarrytown, NY 10591 We are looking for a motivated research associate to join the Protein Expression Sciences team in developing and applying state of the art technologies to the creation of high-level expression cell lines. The candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining stable cell lines for production of therapeutic protein candidates, as well as developing and improving out current cell line development technologies. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in mammalian cell culture, preferably with CHO cells, with transfection and general molecular biology skills. Requirement: - MS degree and at least 3 years of experience, or a BS degree and 5 years experience. - Three to eight (3-8) years of laboratory experience. - Experience in tissue culture work: aseptic techniques, transfection, cell line maintenance is required. - Excellent data management, organizational and communication skills are also a prerequisite. - Molecular biology skills such as cloning are required. - Experience in real time PCR is a plus.
